Today, we join the global campaign to prevent Gender-Based Violence (GBV), a serious human rights violation that disproportionately affects women and girls.

As we approach the 30th Anniversary of the Beijing Declaration, let’s revitalize our commitments and take action towards gender equality.

Our Government is dedicated to fighting GBV and promoting gender equality. In our quest to promote gender equality, there is need to amend our laws to increase women’s participation in governance at all levels.
